Yes i forgot !! It has only 4gb of rom means only 2gb of internal memory so it will be a big problem.stay away from Xperia M then.

galaxy core is good for low to medium usage ( normal day to day usage )..
Camera quality is satisfying & touchscreen response & display quality are sufficient..
But since you've mentioned that your brother will be using a lot of apps/games, its better that you stay away from this phone..it has a weak processor..Mutlitasking/Hardcore gaming will cause stuttering ruining your experience.
