So i recently purchased the retail version of LA Noire game.i was so excited to play it.i installed the game and started the game.The loading screen comes up and few seconds later vanishes.Again double clicked the icon,same thing happens.then i thought may be its an graphics card problem as it is an old game.but there is no error log in event viewer. Then i looked up the google search for similar problem.Ah,i didn't install the latest patch for the game.downloaded and installed the patch.Again the game won't load. So i went to rockstar website and searched for other user posting the same problem.There it is,What a silly stupid bug!Apparently the game won't start if u installed it in a folder name having spaces between words.i installed it in "Rockstar Games". Reinstalled the game in new folder "LANoire".Boom the game started perfectly fine.
That was 2 hrs wasted troubleshooting the computer and game.Seriously its silly and stupid to have such a bug in game!
