Custom ROM for Galaxy Y.

I want a ROM which focuses mainly on performance.
So, tell me which ROM to flash for it.

Check out xda for roms snap shots and the one which you feel is good you can flash the rom with ease and not to mention you need root for that work.

A friend of mine have Galaxy Y.
He wanted to try a custom ROM on his phone too. But since the phone is quite old now and the specs is very low, there aren't much ROM's available. But he went for an ICS ROM. Flashing it was successful, but GSM wasn't working, and hence he couldn't make or receive calls.

He reverted back to gingerbread.

I have rooted my phone already and was using a JB ROM. But it was a little bit heavy with too many features which I don't want.
I tried seraching in XDA but unable to figure out how to find there

So now I have found a ROM ie. Hyperion 8.
So now how do I delete this thread?
