You can start with Blogger.com, wordpress.com,
blog-city.com,
livejournal.com, Xanga.com or
rediff bloggs

Especially blogger.com and wordpress.com are easy for beginners.
There are also some paid services as well. Look for them if you have the $$$

blogger and wordpress both are the best ones...bloger is best backend but wordpress has better themes
