CPU , MOBO & RAM - minimum budget

Hi Guys,

One of my friend want to upgrade old machine but very tight on budget, can you suggest me some decent AMD processor, MOBO & at least 1 GB ram.

with little search i found below config, prices from compareindia

AMD Athlon II X2 245 - 2700
Jetway JN68M - 3000 ## i saw on 1 website it for 2.3K
Adata 2GB AD3U1333C2G9-R - 999 ( Total : 7000 INR)

the main use of computer is limited to surfing, MS office , multimedia and that`s it!!

Let me know (if possible give online buying options as these products are generally not available in local market)

If you are willing to experiment, then get a Raspberry Pi, a Rs.3000 credit-sized computer with 1 GHz (overclockable) ARM processor and 1 GB of RAM, capable of running Linux.

If he needs only mobo, RAM and processor, then get this-
Intel Pentium G2010 @ 3.1k
Asus P8H61 M LX @ 2.8k or Gigabyte GAB75M @ 4k
Corsair Value Select 4 GB @ 1.5K
Total 7.4k or 8.6k

Raspberry Pi totally overpriced in India and got no warranty.
Only support Linux OS.
Only advantage its portable and use very low power.
