1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: I am a Stock Market Trader. Technical Analysis Software like Amibroker & Metastock will run. Mathematical calculation will be performed on a database size 4Gb or above.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 20K to 22K. Below 20K would be preferable.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Win7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 500GB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: No. I have a monitor.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: I do not want to buy Monitor, DVD Drive, UPS & Graphics Card.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Kolkata.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: My friend will assembled this pc.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: It should be a robust machine under my budget. I have no inclination between Intel & AMD.

^^ Ankush, you should have checked the technical specification of the two applications, Amibroker and Metastock before suggesting an i3, a dual core processor.

About Metastock, read here: Does MetaStock Pro take advantage of multiple processor systems? - MetaStock.com

Not only it can divide single tasks to multiple threads but also it can create different threads for its multiple components and allow them to run on multiple cores of a CPU.

About, Amibroker, read here: Efficient use of multithreading

Here an FX-6300 is highly recommended over any i3 available there.

So changing the Processor/Motherboard of your configuration:-

AMD FX-6300 @ 7.35K
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 @ 4K
Corsair Value Select 4GB - 1.9k
Antec BP300 - 1.7k
iBall/Zebronics cabinet w/o psu - 0.8k-1k
WD Blue 500 GB - 3k
logitech MK200 - 0.7k

No, I didn't forget Graphics card. The Motherboard I have suggested is bases on older 760G chipset and comes with HD 3000 IGP. I think if no overclocking is involved, Antec BP300 is fine but ya, he can opt for Antec VP450 PSU.
