Cowon A3 Screen damaged. Where can I fix it

I have Cowon A3 which I had bought couple of years from US. Some how the screen has got damaged because of which I'm unable to use it. Are there any service centers for Cowon here in India who can get this repaired and how much would it cost?

I remember when I was contemplating buying this from India there was a dealer/shop called Lipap Systems in Mumbai.

I checked the price it's around 4k. But I had one doubt it looks like the battery also may not be in good condition. Any idea I can check if the batter is gone kaput as well.

Guys any suggestions on how to check if the battery is still working.
