Core2Duo Motherboard Doubt

Hello Friends,

I wanted to upgrade my computer.
My Present Configuration
1. PIV, 2.66 GHz 2. Gigabyte Motherboard 3. 512 MB DDR Ram
4. 1 LG CDROM (52x), 1 DVD ROM Samsung, 1 Samsung CD Writer (24X)
5. 80GB HDD IDE, one network PCI Card
6. 64MB NvidiaGeforce2 MMX card
7. TVS StartUPS 500KVA


I would like to upgrade system to core2duo processor for graphical applications and games and j2ee development

Core2duo process >=2GHZ
Nvidia 7600 GS 256 MB or NVIDIA 6600GT 256 MB (PCI 16X VERSION)
DVD writer

Question

I am planning to retain the 3 optical drives and HDD. Will the core2duo motherboard, will have 2 IDE , to attach my 4 devices (3 optical drives and IDE HDD)
Should I have to Upgrade UPS too for this configuration change?

The Intel 965G motherboard has only 1 IDE connector. So, think again!
