Hi guys,

I have a problem copying the avseq*.dat files from vcds under linux. I am running fedora core 2 linux. Whenever i try to copy vcds, it gives a file not found error. mplayer can play vcds using the 'play vcd' option but if i try to play individual files, it refuses to do do. In windows xp, i have no such problem. Is there any solution or tool available to rectify this problem? please help?

My second question, has fedora core 3 final released? I have a very bad expeirence with installing fedora core 2. Disk Druid deleted my partition table when i used unpartitioned space to create linux partions, and even on freshly partitioning the hard drive and installing, it gave error while restarting. I had tried installing it 17 times using every windows and linux tool possible. Finally i tried upgrading a red hat 9 installation and it worked. Now i have fear in my mind about installing fc3. Do anybody have any such experience with fc2. If yes, please tell me, how you tackled it.
Also please tell me that is there any such issues with fc3. i am very scared now of installing linux as my hard disk's noise level has increased since then.

Sumit.
