Converting*.Mov video

Guys
i hv a video of *.MOV extension which open in real one player. Unluckily, real one player is not supported by Windows movie maker(WMM). I need to use the video in WMM, and for this the file has to be made compatible with Windows Media Player. I have tried to change the extention and use the file but the file becomes unusable. Please suggest me how can i convert the .mov video file to .wmv

U can also install codec pack and play .mov file in WMP.
