Convert Internal HDD to External HDD, Possible?

As the title says is it possible? I will do it for my 160 GB Hitachi Desktar drive then. I will buy a WD Black soon, so wanna keep that Hitachi as an External one. If it's possible then also please mention the ways to do it..

Just buy an external HDD case. Around 0.75k to 1.5k.
There are many options with USB, eSATA etc.

also you can buy dock stations for HDD, which are better plug and play option than a case of 700 buck

^^How much will these "dock stations" cost??Are there any specific,good brands or anyone will do?

HDD casing for sata cost around 400-450 bucks & 500-550 bucks for PATA Hard drive.
