I'm going to buy a LED TV and was thinking to connect it to my PC. My current computer configuration is
Intel Quad Core Q8400
Intel DG41KR.
Seagate 500GB+1TB. Totally 1.5 TB
Corsair 2*2GB
PSU Corsair around 430W.(Have other things. Wireless keyboard/mouse, 22.5" Monitor. H60 Processor cooler.)

I wanted to play Battlefield 3 and Medal of Honor but as you'll know I don't have a GPU. What should I do? Buy a brand new PC for personal use or upgrade this one? Totally confused.

My budget is low (25-30K) because I will have to buy a laptop for my studies later next year (Will trouble you again :p )

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Mid Range Gaming. BF 3 and should run games for atleast another 2.5 years without a hitch.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:35K but not more than 40.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Not even in the near future. So NO. :)

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows 8 Pro.

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: Additional 1 or 2 TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: No. I have a 22.5" monitor and 1920*1080

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:Intel Quad Core Q8400
Intel DG41KR.
Seagate 500GB+1TB. Totally 1.5 TB
Corsair 2*2GB
Cooler Master Elite 430 cabinet.
Samsung 22.5". Don't know what to keep and what not but not selling my monitor, speakers, keyboard and mouse.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Mid Feb

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: It will be built by me.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Open to the lowest prices.

Any online website + Delta - The Best in IT in INDIA
I live in Chennai.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Confused what to do. Buy a new rig or upgrade. Don't have much cash though.

No Harshil I need a laptop after a year maybe so I'll get a good one ;) No should I upgrade my old one or entirely buy a new one?

You can sell the cpu motherboard and get a new one. This will leave about 33 k or 34 k in your budget and you'll then need to buy just the cpu motherboard graphic card as have all the other stuff.

Then you can get i3 3220 h61 board hd7850

as long as you get a set top box(DTH or cable) you can connect it to any monitor/TV & watch regular TV.i recommend getting a set top box with hdmi port for viewing HD channels.

Nope, I already have an SD Set Box.

Yes i can connect the VGA from Set Top box to Monitor , do i have to change the cable to switch from PC to TV ? Is some kind of splitter available ?

I also have a USB TV Tuner card, would that help ? But TV Tuner card video quality is much inferior :(
