i dont u all know this or not
but today when i was doin some text work and saved the file named con but its
saving on that name y???
and also renamed new folder to con but still no renamin y?

these are reserved for windowsdevice files(printer,..etc)

Right, and same for the rest:
AUX, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, PRN and NUL

And btw, you can create these folders using the Prompt. But is it really that important for you to do it?
