[Computer Problem] Window automatically becomes inactive

Whenever I play GTA:VC or I start Microsoft Word or similar softwares, the window becomes inactive by itself, requiring me to re-activate the windows by clicking somewhere on it. In case of full screen applications like GTA:VC, the window gets minimized.

I use Win XP Home, 128 MB DDR RAM, P4, onboard Intel graphics card, Intel Motherboard. No windowBlinds or similar skinning software installed, AutoPatcher March 2004.

Earlier it did not happen, but it has started now only. Earlier i had 64 MB RAM, even at that time it did not time, but this time it is happening. Certainly not a RAM problem.

Actually, it is not my problem but my friends whose problem i m unable to solve.
