Well Guys,

Sometime I am download .zip or .rar archive from the internet.

BTW, when extract size doubles then the file I have downloaded e. g. I have downloaded 200MB but when extract the extracted folder goes 350MB.

Plz, let me know how to do this?

I use both winzip & winrar.

Use rar archive option in WinRar and set compression to maximum to get the best compression ratio. Or use KGB archiver if your system is having decent config as it offers maximum compression.

When Vista came out first, there was a 1.44 MB pirated version, advertised as the floppy disc vista, and when unrarred, it expanded to a dvd size.

On the WinRAR, when you compress the file, on the left bottom side you can set it to "BEST" for .........best compression !!! BTW KGB Archiver doesn't use too much memory ??? but it is nice for "Extreme" type compression...
