Compatibility...can i build this?

Planning to assemble a mid range gamerig

is the undermentioned configuration OK in terms of compatibility?

i am planning to build a mid range computer for myself for mainly gaming and CG applications.

i plan to incorporate the following components-

1. Motherboard and processor-
ASUS P5N-E SLI with Intel Core 2 Duo E6850, 3 Ghz or E6550,2.33 Ghz

or

Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4 with AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core processor...preferably 6000+ or 5600+ if 6000+ is not available.

2. BIG GeForce 8600GTS 256 MB GPU.

3. RAM - Zion DDR2 667Mhz 1GB...two sticks initially and a later upgrade to four sticks if finances permit.

Go for intel based PC i.e
ASUS P5N-E SLI with Intel Core 2 Duo E6850, 3 Ghz or E6550,2.33 Ghz
Graphic card and RAM is ok.
What compatibility dude?Everything is cool with your configuration.
