You can't do that in N73 as its a S60 OS 9 phone and its system folder is inaccessible. In older S60 phones it was possible by deleting the log file in the install folder in system.

what if i install a system explorer in the phone and then try to access the system files.

When i said that the system folder is inaccessible, its through a system explorer only (is there any other way?). None of the system explorer can access the system folder in os 9 phones because nokia has made inaccessible to all.
