Noticed somethin guys...

while I was experimentin with all those case fans...

The LED fans... U think those LEDs're powered frm the 12V supplied to d fan???

Wrong... :D

In fact they're powered frm the voltage generated wen d fan spins... :)

(I think its due to the voltage frm mutual induction n blah blah... Dunno... Heh he..)

Try out urself by blowin the fan baldes with all ur power!!!
(In d direction its supposed to spin of corz..)

U'll notice the LED glows n fades...

I tried out with ANtec n d Globe fans which were present in d Powersafe PSU 600W... It worked...

u can light LEDs using two motors(their shafts connected) power one motor through a cell n connect LED to the other. it will glow.
and when power is supplied to the fan the e.m.f. generated is cancelled by the applied e.m.f.
LED takes its power from the power supply itself
