Cheapest Laptop solution

Hi

I am a student and i require a laptop to better assist me in my studies. but those available in market are costly and have far more features than i require. I need a laptop with small memory, a black and white screen will also do. Network compatibility is a must.
can u please tell me any thing that suits my needs ? Or rather post the cheapest laptop in the market ?

I don`t know about any B/W laptops.ACi has some cheap ones starting from 23K onwards with decent features.

HCL recently introduced a new Ezeebee laptop with 1 GHz processor, 256 MB RAM, 40 GB harddisk. It costs about 24000 plus taxes... I am told that it has Ethernet port...

If not, you can go for second-hand laptops (available online at www.ebay.in)

Go check the your Uni noticeboard for ads. Or put one yourself.
