cheap pci lan card brand ??????

i want to know the cheap pci lan card brands which work with Linux
as all say its realtek chip set,
like INTEX say its realtek chip set but its not and is next to impossible
to install it and get it working in 2.6 kernel
so i want to know from you guys which other brands are working perfectly

as far as i know realtek dosn't sell here by brand and almost every pci lan card brand in india contains realtek chip either orignal,clone or fake like in INTEX,
guys i want to know which cheapest brand which works best with linux 2.6 kernel
