Can anyone tell me a client through which I can chat over my LAN?

Do suggest one with good features...

The best is IP Messenger .. Free and lightweight ... You can send files over Lan too .. Supports WAN too ..

You could also try BorgChat.

Yupp .. Borgchat too .. Its like Irc over your Lan ..

Now that I've got the S/W, can u plz tell me one more to limit bandwidth usage of my clients.
e.g. I want that none of'em can get speeds above 10kbps, coz it slows down the net cnxn badly...
