Changing the boot logo of A8N-VM???

My bro has
Asus A8N-VM mobo with AMD 64 3000+ cpu
160 GB SATA
Sony DVD RW DW-G120A

mobo manual says that it is possible to change the boot logo. Can someone help here in step by step guide.

I heard that this Sony drive needs firmware upgrade, is it true??
If yes, where can i get it??

A8N-VM may not have that software.

A8N-VM CSM has got software in Driver CD from ASUS which allows to change the boot logo.

Download the software form their site or install it from the driver CD. And ur board supports it. And about firmware upgrades u can get it from the manufacturer's site and It is not neccesary to update the firmawe by the way upgrading helps the rive to perform well and recognize and use media well.
