Cellphone for senior citizen

Hello !

i could find one thread on the subject, but it was a bit old and i found some better models suited for my requirement through a google search than suggested in that thread. i would just like to get some advise from you people on whether there are better phones out there, or any model that you have in mind. the requirements are as follows :

1. large keys

2. big enough screen

3. emergency feature(s)

4. ease of use

5. dual sim (preferable, but not necessary)


i have the following models in my mind :

1. iball aasan

2. iball arpan

3. munoth (dont know about availability)

4. samsung jitterbug

of these, am leaning more towards iball arpan, followed by iball aasan. the phone is to be used by my grandfather, and as many old people, he too has the usual old-age issues. budget would be upto 5k, stretchable may be to 7k.

please do suggest on this

Ya.. Iball is really good for senior citizens..

thanks for your responses, but my grandfather surrendered to the charm of front of camera, FM and dual sim he bought samsung hero.
moreover, unavailability of none of the iball models with the dealers was a big cause. otherwise i could have shown those models to him and those could've appealed him.
but nevertheless, he's a happy old fellow now
