I knew this kinda thing would happen. LOL

In reaction to "Gizmodogate," the gadget blog's prank of shutting down flat-screen displays on the show floor and during demos at CES (see Bloggers behaving badly), the conference's organizer, the Consumer Electronics Association, sent me this statement:

We have been informed of inappropriate behavior on the show floor by a credentialed media attendee from the Web site Gizmodo, owned by Gawker Media. Specifically, the Gizmodo staffer interfered with the exhibitor booth operations of numerous companies, including disrupting at least one press event. The Gizmodo staffer violated the terms of CES media credentials and caused harm to CES exhibitors. This Gizmodo staffer has been identified and will be barred from attending any future CES events. Additional sanctions against Gizmodo and Gawker Media are under discussion.

Gizmodo: Yay! We turned off TVs and disrupted shows at C.E.S.. Ha! Ha! We are so funny. Here's proof so that you can screw us. We are a bunch of stupid bloggers with the sense of humour of an eight-year-old!

Gizmodo sucks! Engadget is the best!

It's no big deal, dude. One guy I know used to turn of TVs in malls all the time with his I-Mate JasJar.

Well my accomplishment in the IR area is restricted to me taking my apple remote to the Apple store, standing outside in one corner, and invoking Front row through the glass :D. Took them a minute to figure it out until one of them came outside and caught me. :)

You should have pressed the 'Play' button for six seconds when some newbie was doing something. The Mac would have gone into sleep mode.

"OMG! This Mac crashed! I crashed a freaking Mac!!"

:D

Ah well, I could also have paired their machines with my remote. Would have found themselves in a pickle. They didn't know about pairing till after they caught me.

(btw Press play button for two seconds to sleep the mac)

such a childish behaviour by gizmodo's boys.
