Hi Guys,

I need your help in building a PC for my friend in Bangalore. His main focus is to get as much as powerful PC in terms of gaming in the mentioned budget and keeping it as compact/small as possible.

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Gaming: Mainly CS:GO, but would like to play games for at least 2 years on decent settings.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:45k, not more than this

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:no

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows 10

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:1TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:Not for now, will be suing TV for now. will buy monitor next month

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Monitor

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Within a week

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: YEs

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Bangalore, open to online as well as local shops.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Need the Pc for gaming and light applications like MS Office etc. Heavy softwares will not be used on this machine. And my friend wants the setup to be as compact as possible. So please suggest mini cabinets or portable cabinets for him.

There is simply no way, I would suggest a gtx960/950 for the price it's being sold right now. Almost 60/70% faster GPUs are available in market for just a little more money. Yes, it's RX470 I am talking about. It's good for foreseeable time. 950 is legacy now.

Ask him to get a laptop with gtx 1060 instead. He won't be changing the laptop for another 2-3 years then. Would cost him close to 80k but it'll be worth it.
