Cant play video files

Hi guys...
Recently when i open video files in winamp or windows media player it gives the following error....

The application or Dll C:\Windows\system32\wmv9dmod.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check against the installation diskette.

I hav tried playin these files in VLC but only the sound cms out but not the video.

try to install codecs and a software which plays video file...

restore ur syatem to previous best know confrigation.Your problem will be solved

Have you recently install any new web player/simple player...or any codec pack??
The probelm may be a virus cause.

Please restore system..if problem continues..post again here.

hey i reinstalled winamp and dwled the codecs and its running normal again.
