I have plans of buying a high end smartphone in future. But the thing holding me back is what happens if some defects pops up in the phone and the company leaves me in the lurch as has happened to thousands of people owing to pathetic service centres in India.
Can you get your smartphone insured against defects/accidental damages? . If so, which is the best company offering this kind of insurances and what all sorts of damages it cover i.e. water/screen breakage etc. Just saw the post by Sony lover regarding Z1 providing accidental damage insurance . I think this should become a must for all high end smartphones so that the consumer can breathe easy.
