Can i run Win XP on this configuration ?

i have 9 year old computer with the following configuration. Is it possible to load windows XP on this machine. I dont have issues even if it is a very very toned down version of windows XP.

RAM: 128 MB SD RAM
Processor: 266 Mhz Celeron
HDD: 20 GB

Actually i tried doing so by fitting the above HDD in my newer computer and installing windows XP OS on its D: (C: already has windows 98 which is running fine) but when i attached that HDD back to my old computer, it gave me the option of booting into windows XP and 98 but if i select windows XP then the computer restarts

Please let me know if you need any more details and help me solve my query.

As per Microsoft's Windows XP website, minimum requirements for Windows XP is a Pentium/Celeron 233MHz processor with 128MB RAM and 1.5GB of HDD space. As you have the needful in your old PC, certainly you can install and run Windows XP.
