sufficient. most 1Ghz processor are based around ARM Cortex A8 or some are MIPS based and will easily handle HD video. but don't expect to run games as most modern mobile GPU can handle HD video but not games.

Yes it will play IMO. Wave S8500 had same spec and it did play 720P videos. But it lagged when 1080P videos were put. So it might be same for your tablet too. Might depend on the CPU architecture also.
Btw, HD is 1080p IMO, not 720p.

Wave S8500 had the bada OS, so don't compare, that Penta tab with ICS will eat wave for snacks.

Yes, it will play, certainly 1080p as my funbook plays them and the specs are same(the ram on penta may be faster as its ddr 3), my funbook also pays 2160p, never tested but your penta may play that as well.
