can i increase my laptop graphics?

Hi Digit,
I have a laptop with confg. as follows
intel pentiun IV @ 2.30 Ghz
4 gb ddr3 ram
intel hd(the software "specy" showed the graphics memory to be 1326 mb).
I want to play latest games but I don't have enough money to buy a new rig. Can I increase my gpu strenth?
I have seen a few pics in techinferno.com showing gpu unit connected to laptop some cable, called "eGPU." What is this eGPU? How much does it cost? Can you explain it in detail?

Not impossible besides performance gains leave alienware 17 behind considering gtx 660ti costs 20k+EGPU setup costs 5k max. Another 2-3k for Psu and you got yourself alienware 17+ performance.

Laptops arent meant to be upgraded like this, very few laptops actually support GPU upgrades.. Best save up and get a PC if you are really need
