Buying new laptop+bunch of other stuff

I actually will be buying loads of stuff along with this laptop, but since couldn't post everything at the same place,I divided it up.
The stuff that I have to buy are:-
A> Laptop
B>Graphics card(I will post in the graphics card section)
C>Power Supply
D>1 stick of corsair vengeance ddr3(already have one. will add this one)
E> Router
F> External hard disk(500 gb)
G> (If any cash remains)=> Xbox 360 wired controller.

The total budget is 73k(absolutely non flexible).

Anyway since this is the laptop section please suggest the laptop and any help with the other stuff is welcome as well :D

1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
55k(approx) for laptop. Non-flexible because it has already been stretched.

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
d. Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen

3) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?

a. Like: Don't have any problems with any brand provided they provide quality products.
b. Dislike:depends

4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
1.) Movies(A lot of them)
2.) A lot of typing(programming, blog and articles). So a good keyboard is a must.
3.) Virtualization( Mostly linux and will probably try out the snow leopard with the dvd i have with me. 150 gb will be for this.)
4.) A bit of gaming( By a bit I mean mostly racing games like dirt3,run,split second ocassionally when I am free). I don't believe a laptop is meant for gaming so will be doing most of that on my desktop.

5) What screen resolution(s) & type (glossy/matte) would you prefer?
1080/720p. I know I won't get a matte screen at this budget.
I won't mind a 720p display provided the display is good and has good viewing angles(for a laptop that is).

6) Anything else you would like to say? (eg: local purchase, ASS,matte/glossy finish)

Won't be buying online. Will purchase locally @kolkata. And when I say the budget is 55k please suggest stuff which is = or < 55k.

I really like the vaio CB45 considering its FHD screen, but my only doubt regarding that machine is whether the i5 2450m can handle virtualization considering it is only a dual core(4 threads each) and I can only give one core to the guest OS. :\ Other than that it seems perfect since it has an fhd screen,a good enough graphics card and a good keyboard.

I am also considering asus k55vm, but i have real doubts about its keyboard and screen quality. but in terms of hardware it is miles ahead. Help me out guys.

Will be purchasing everything after 5th june(when my exams end). I know the budget is a bit tight for so many components but please try to squeeze them in. X_X Thanks.

Ermm..okay but what about the virtualization part?
Can the i5-2450m handle that?

And also can anyone provide the model number/link to a router within 1.5k with dd-wrt compatibility?

Yes I mentioned that one,but not sure about the screen and the keyboard. Mike's quarter review of the k55vm shows the screen is very bad. -_-

Sony CB45 is the best option for you.
And yes it will be able to handle the virtualization part.
You can have a look at Asus K55VM-SX086D, it has got a 3rd gen i7 and 8GB, so you can imagine how good it is gonna perform but unfortunately it lacks a Full HD display.
I always say one thing "you can't get everything in everything, one has to compromise on or the other thing" :)

Any good router within 1.5k with 802.11b/g/n(It would be nice if it has the download to a usb device function as well)?

ASUS RT-N10 wireless router is a good one but it lacks download to a USB fn (which is not available at this price pt).. Here is the link :

^ Yes I was also looking this one up in flipkart.
Settled then :) Thanks.

Btw anyone knows when sony is refreshing their laptops lineup? I can wait a month or so if something better than the cb45 is on the horizon :p

They have done that just some time back, so now they will do it after some time only, hopefully not anytime soon.
