Just call the Nokia Customer Care(I don't remember the number) and say that you want to activate the songs. They will ask the phone model, your IMEI, and your number. Within a minute you will receive a lot of SMS(I got 65). Just save anyone of them. And all your songs will be unlocked. Though you can spend time saving all those SMSs.
Crappy DRM...
And the songs are sooo badly encoded aac ones that you will hear it once only

Come on yaar! Believe me. Even i was despaired after hearing the price. I bought mine just after its launch for 21K !! As i mentioned two of my frnds actually bought the piece for 12K each!! Now, do i need to produce the bill copy too?? hehe..

Anyways, tell me...have u upgraded ur mobile's firmware? I heard that the latest one add A2DP support to the phone? err...i see u've the latest one, i.e. 4.07...something like that! So, does ur phone support A2DP? One more thing, mine after an year and half has gone rather slow while navigating gallery and few items like that. Any solutions to it?? Is upgrading the firmware only solution? I really dont want to do that...!
regarding Antivirus, i think NetQin Anti-Virus Pro v2.2.40 should be good! I heard, even Kaspersky Mobile version 7.0 is available. Check that out too.

There are currently no viruses available for S60 3rd edition phones. So installing an antivirus is of no use now. The present symbian OS has got inbult platform security features than older ones. So, even if you get a virus(you have to install it by yourself to make it work) it will be doing little harm to your system.

I also found on the net while googling that the new firmware has A2DP support .but i havnt chked it yet becoz i dont have any wireless stereo headphone.

.I upgraded to 4.0736 version yesterday and now i am regretting that. The memory performance is too bad. After opening and closing a couple of apps, the ram lowers to 10 mb. While the previous one used to stay at 16-17 MB.

In my fone it hovers around 16MB after 2-3 hours of surfing and music. after reboot the free ram in my case is 21 to 22 mb

use opera mini for high speed browsing, opera mobile for advanced features, and Ucweb browser for downloading stuffs and all that.

I am facing a strange problem. From yesterday the image and video gallery is not showing any file in it even though i have many pics and videos in the memory card. What to do .please help someone

Just remove(press power, remove mem card) and reinsert your card while the phone is on.

If it doesn't solve.. you must have LCG Xplore installed? Its an xcellent file browser. Open the images folder. All your images are there. Here there is a hidden folder called _PAlbTN. Delete that. Now again open gallery and wait for 2-3 minutes.

Man i'm sooo happy to own one after having 3SEs and a motorola.My first nokia!!!

Bought it @ 13.2k after bargaining..Got 100 songs with it.

My songs also got activated. I went to nokia priority(my fone dealer) he took my number and sent a request via net and in 5 seconds smses started coming. I got 100 msges

There is a sms for activation of the preloaded contents in N-Series.
Just sms & you will start receiving sms for activating songs.

You can send the songs to other phone but they won't be able to play them due to unavailibilty of activation key.
They are .dcf files which is DRM protected.So are useless on other devices.
