buying a dvd player

hey guyz, i need to buy a dvd player for my mum n dad to gift on this diwali. my budget is >5k, please suggest me something good.

also is there anything available to which i can attach my external hdd and play movies in it? if yes please i want this feature.

Check out Onida HDR-5533 DVD Player. I got it for Rs. 3,250 last month. It has a touch panel, is not in the conventional shape, but stylish and black, got HDMI, 5.1 channel outputs, memory card port, USB port, and plays most DVDs. Comes with a HDMI cable, and MicroSD card adapter and Remote. You might get it for a better price during the festive season.
