Buying a blackberry phone

Hi guys, my dad wants to buy a Blackberry. I have shortlisted some models (these are the only ones with a touchscreen) :
1.Bold 9900
2.Torch 9810
3.Bold 9790
4.Torch 9860
5.Curve 9380

Now my doubts :
1.Which one would be the best among these, considering that the main usage is emailing ?
2.Is there any difference in the keypads in the bolds ?
3.Are the ones without keypad (Torch 9860 and Curve 9380) good enough for typing ?

I think you should get him Torch 9810.

And about your doubts:
1. Any one of them I should say
2.The keypad in the bold is lil better than in the curve series.
3. Yes both the phones are without keypad, for more(a lot of) typing I think keypad is must
