budget speakers

hello
i need to purchase a 2.1 or 5.1 speaker system for listening to music and watching movies on pc and may be attach it to my dvd player occasionally
my budget is about RS.2500. I am not able to decide between the two and also which brand to buy altec or logitech or creative...
so please tell me which speaker system would give me best sound quality and would also fit my budget

I own a Altec lansing speaker 2.1 channel for the past 5 years .. no problem as yet .. good output still healthy ..

You can opt for

Altec BXR1221 2.1 - 1k
Altec VS2421 2.1 - 2.2k

If u prefer creative its also a good choise

Creative Inspire 2.1 M2600 - 1.9k
Creative Inspire 4.1 M4500 - 2.2k - best bet for ur budget as its 4.1 .. if 2.1 is enough then go for Altec ..

I purchased Altec VS2421, 2.1 at 2400/- last December. Its really very good. I am satisfied with its performance and recommend you that only.
