Broadband Problem

I have a Airtel Broadband (256 kbps) installed over a comp running on win xp home edition sp2. i have thouroughly checked my computer for adwares n spywares, whichever came up i deleted them. All programs installed on my comp r running fine.

My problem is that whenever i connect to the internet, all the programs such as msn messgr, yahoo msgr, internet explorer, etc donot respond. They dont start. However, they start as soon as i disconnect from the net. If i want to access the net, i have to start these programs BEFORE i connect to the net. N if i wanna open another instance of internet explorer, i have to disconnect from da net, start another program, n reconnect again.

Plz help me out with my problem.

What Anti-spyware software you used to check ?

Also it seem a problem with your Internet Connection options.

Please check if the Connection Tab shows the "Never Dial a Connection" and check the proxy setting in the LAN Settings.

It has happened to my friend before and that time Firewall was the source of problem. He reinstalled his firewall and everything was ok.

Sometime the reason also due to the SVCHOST of Windows which causes this problem.

get the latest version of HIJACKTHIS and run it.. and paste the log file

do a scan and paste the log using the hijack this.. to know how 2 use hijack this refer below..
