I had a IDE hard drive earlier with windows XP SP2 installed on it. i always partitioned my hard drive with FAT32 file system. i used the Windows 98 bootdisk(CD) to boot my PC in DOS as an when Windows crash and fails to boot.
i use various DOS tools to daigonise and solve the problem.

i recently upgraded my system to SATA HDD.
Windows 98 bootdisk(CD) does not support SATA hard drives and NTFS partitions.
So now there is no way for me to use the tools as the partitions r not shown.
the only option i have is to use the WindowsXP bootable Setupdisk to reinstall windows...and the repair option(in windows setup) never works...:!:

Is there a way to compile a bootable Disk(CD) with SATA drive support and NTFS support?

@phreak0ut.....installing windows XP again is no issue...but again i have to install all my programs/games again.....and not to mentions all those tweaks in windows to get optimum performance....sometimes some errors in windows can be eliminated easily using DOS and some other useful DOS tools.
So y go through such painful procedure of installing everything again wen problem can be solved through DOS.

@blacklight....
