bookmarks disappear in mozilla.

i just lost my bookmarks. i use firefox 1.0. i dont have a ups so whenever there is a power cut, the computer goes off. yesterday , same thing happened and as usual there was a disk check during startup. there were some entries which were truncated during the disk check. i dont remember but it said something like...... C:\.......\Mozilla Firefox\....\cache\.... was truncated.

and now all the bookmarks are gone. pls help me with this.


and also, i have system restore on. how can i use system restore to reverse the changes done?

My bookmarks disppered once too. I am n00b as far as Firefox is concerned. Can anyone tell me why does that happen?

i dunno if system restore will work in this case..but try it.. dont u know how to use it?

start->programs->accec.->sys tools->System restore.. then select a date prior to when ur BM's disappeared.. it may solve ya prob

thats it, i think i've lost them. i tried a search by typing in the names of the bookmark but that didnt work too.
