Block Downloading

I mean to say I want to block download in my pc
for other user account in winxpsp2.

Try this...

run gpedit.msc

navigate to User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Internet Explorer -> Security Features -> Restrict File Download

Make the option "Enable" for ALL PROCESSES

Thanks sridatta for reading & replying to my message.The solution you
suggested is not working it just stop automatic prompting of file download.But Downloading is not blocked.

use zonelabs personal firewall it has options to stop downloading
