Hi

When I start the Machine I pressed "F2" to enter the BIOS. But I forgot the
password of the BIOS and I couldn't change any settings in it.

But I could see the information in the BIOS but unable to change any settings in the BIOS.

I want to RESET or REMOVE the password of the BIOS. Help me out.

a.)Is there any Password Recovery Tools.

b.)Is there any TOOLS to RESET or REMOVE The Password of the BIOS.

c.)should any chip be removed from the Motherboard to RESET the password.

My another query: is "BIOS" and "CMOS" are same or different.

What is "CMOS" and What is "BIOS"

Open up the cabinet, look for a battery on th motherboard. That's ur CMOS battery. Remove th battery and reinsert it after a few minutes. This will reset th BIOS password. CMOS stands for Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductors. BIOS is Basic Input Output System.

If by chance you happen to have Windows 98 or a bootable win98 floppy then tell me .... I'll post here the manual procedure using an algorithm that can be followed to crak BIOS password using command prompt.... without opening cabinet or using any utilities... all by hand... (note: works with Award BIOS on windows 95/98 or a bootable windows 98 floppy to boot into real mode DOS)

though i haven't tried with phoenix BIOS but at least you can have that algorithm

alternately, you can change the bios jumpers given on the 810 motherboard to disable bios password.
