BIOS Auto Resetting !!

Hi !
I have a problem with my system. Every time I start my computer the BIOS settings are automatically resetted, and the computer stops in bootup. Then I have to go to the BIOS settings and then after again booting it works normally.

I changed the CMOS battery since it supplies current to the BIOS chip. It worked fine for one day and then it again started happening. Then I checked the CMOS jumpers and they are in the propre prosition too. I can't think of anything now.

My motherboard is a Mercury 945GZD running two HDD's, 512 mb DDR2 ram and a DVD-RW drive with C2D E4400.

Please give me some really decent solutions.

Try changing you battery again. Check the manufactured of the same before you buy. If it had been too long on the shelf, then its as good as a dead battery.
