best SATA DVD burner...

hey guys im bout to get a new dvd burner fr my pc coz my existing one (AWG-170a) got fried so which one should i go fr Lite on or Sony ...remember it should be SATA ......do post the model no.

Better go for Sony burners. Liteon's failure rate seems to be very high these days and my writer failed. Liteon's support is pathetic and they make you run around their offices for weeks for simple replacement of writer.

You will not see any performance improvement over PATA writer.

ya the drive has very less noise...i cant noe wht its doing....unlike my sony one...whic used to make noise like...chikr chikr...chuiiin...chuiinnn...etc ...u get the point..
