Best RAM Module for gaming

hey guys i have a question which of this RAM module is best suited for gaming

1. Patriot Sector 5 G
2. Corsair Vengeance
3. Kingston HyperX
4. Wintex AMPX
5. Corsair XMS3
6. G.Skill Sniper
7. Adapta XPG
8. G. Skill Ripjaws
9. Corsair Dominator

If all of them have the same latencies, I dont think you would notice the difference.

Unless you are overclocking or reducing the Latency. you won't find any real world difference between Rams running at same speed and latency. In fact after, 1866 MHz speed, the improvement in performance with higher speed Ram in gaming is really negligible. Also each of the models you have mentioned, have different versions with different speed and latency. Better quote your budget and let us choose one for you.

I am confused between

my recent config: i. core i5 3570k
ii. ASRock extreme z77
iii.Sapphire Toxic 7970 hd
iv kingston entry level 6gb ram (dont know what model it is , but it is just a basic 1333 mhz one)
but the problem with the g-skill one previously i mentioned is it does not support any amd chip so in recent future i wanna buy a configuration with fx one (maybe fx 8350) then i will have problem.
also out of the subject of this thread can u tell me which soundrcard will be better not only for game also for flac music

I got sniper 4*2 gb sniper bundle for 4k from flipkart. Pretty satisfied from it and its heatspreaders dont interfere with my evo

*Which extreme z77 ?
None of them support quad channel memory.

*I havent heard of memory chip compatibility problems unless the ram type is different (ie ddr,ddr2,ddr3).

*I would go with the Asus sound-card.

16gb @ 6k is a tough fight.
Check this : G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 16GB (2 x 8 GB) PC RAM (F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL)
The CL9 is better, but costlier. Check local market for lower rates.

You dont need 16gb for gaming. Higher clocks aren't going to visibly boost frame rates in gaming. 1600mhz 2x4gb is enough. If you are into OCing, prefer gskills.
I would suggest you take this. G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 8GB (2 x 4 GB) PC RAM (F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL)
Save the extra money.

Both RipjawsX and Dominator are great ram's. The only problem that can arise is the interference of heat spreaders with the (aftermarket) CPU cooler. BTW which cpu cooler do you currently own?

i have z77 extreme4 , yea now isee it doesnt support

and it ie true the g-skill tridentx F3-2666C11Q-16GTXD only support z77 motherboard no support for 990fx,because at there website there is no AMD board in there support list.

Those guys were using the Trident on an 990FX mobo (see the logo on liquid cooler on the cpu besides the ram).

Although I seriously doubt the compatibility issue, I think Dominator is ~= Trident.

Seriously, 9000 for RAM??? There would be no visible difference between 1600 MHz and 2133 MHz or a 1 ms lower latency.

9000 rupees for something eye catching and ram cooler??? just get the G.Skill ripjawsX 1600 MHz 8 Gb and a ram cooler.

the extra ram is not for just gaming but also memory intensive program like 3ds max , & photoshop & then video encoding & also audio ripping.

Save the money and stick to 8GB G Skill RipjawsX. Next time, please put all the relevant information such as system configuration, budget and purpose on the first post. If you want bling, you're better off wasting money on LEDs and stuff, but its your money and your wish.

FYI, Dominator platinum 2133MHz use Hynix. Its the higher ones from Corsair Dominator platinum and Avexir that are well-known great memory kits as they're higher binned Samsung ICs. But if you're not going to overclock and fine tune them, you're wasting the potential of the hardware and money just for bling.
