best music under 11k??

I'll suggest Nokia 5310 because it has excellent sound quality, good music playing software, 3.5 mm jack on the phone, stereo loudspeakers, support for upto 4gb microSD cards and a rated music playing time of 18 hours. Plus it is also good looking slim handset with good keypad and excellent QVGA display.

nope. it has EDGE, which has to be unlocked using a simple procedure.

Why do we need 3G on the phone when Indian Govt. is not ready to implement it?

@desiibond, there is nothing wrong with an old OS. S40 is a simple, attractive and can be easily customized to ones preference. The S40 in 5310 is S40 v5 which is the latest version. A person who doesn't want smartphone features will be completely happy with it. Infact there is hardly anything to complain about it.

p.s.- These new changes to the forum doesn't allow me to quote through Opera Mini 4, which throughly and completely sucks!

^^ By then the rest of the world would've moved to 5G. I don't get it why do we have to wait so much. Its not as if people here aren't ready for it. Tech forums are filling up by people crying for the lack of 3G. 3G phones have been available for the last 3 years and even 3.5G phones are available now. What else do they need?

nokia is catching .. at this point of time i would bet money on SE !! Walkman 2.0 !!

go for k550i @ 8k and flash it to w610i incase you wanted cheaper option

or go for 5310 .... you would better play out music in a w610 and 5310 and compare before you buy one !! and

also for 12k you have k790i and according to Economic Times its one of the best phones out there based on sales and satisfaction !! in music and cam !!

really classic phone for music and other features are also good
