best dvd writer for laptop???

hi, i want a good dvd writer for my laptop. my dvd writer got screwed up last day. my laptop is dell.
i heard liteon is the best. i dont know where it is available in bangalore....
i would like to know where it is available with warranty and how much it costs.
if any other best writers are available in the market, kindly tell me with a reason why its best. because i cant change it again and again. i need good product with a good customer support....
i am in need of it pls..... give me reply as soon as possible......

hi i also hv dell 6400.ialso had the same problem.
but i wud suggest u that u buy dvd rw from dell only.becoz thier services are far much better then ne1.n prices r also vry compititive.just drop them a call n ask for quotation abut dvd rw
