hi friends, i want to buy a new android phone and i need it to be future proof. so i want to buy best one available today. buying within a week

1. Budget : doesn't matter
2. Display type and size: more than 4 inch
3. Form Factor : any
4. Preferred choice of brand: any reputed brand
5. Preferred input method (QWERTY, touchscreen, numpad, touch-n-type): will prefer hard keypad
6. What camera option you want? Please specify need for flash, autofocus, front facing camera: best available with powerful flash
7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc) : android
8. Preferred connectivity options (3G, Wifi etc)Please specify clearly: all should be future proof
9. Preferred applications (Flash, Swype, GPS, etc): GPS, Flash, games, office suite
10. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, mails, internet, gaming etc)? official and some what gaming
11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration : galaxy note, galaxy nexus

Future proofing is not a option in mobile phones. Just buy a one with your specifications and needs and change after 1-2 years because mobile is a very fast paced market prices go down day by day and new models come week by week . ;-p

+1. Its true... you can consider HTC sensation or Samsung S2 for that matter but even the best will be outclassed in 6 months...

Nexus must be good but still can't say much about it as we hardly have any info other than the specs of the device,getting hands on will fetch more information and secondly have no idea about it price too.
The best options according to me right now in android are:
1. Samsung Note-but a lil big,if u r comfortable with the size then go for it.
2. HTC Sensation XE-priced around 31-32k.

Acc. to me best phone available in India is Samsung Galaxy SII. Nexus feels bigger. 4S only has siri and iOS 5 which are better than S2 but when u see its price in India.......

Both Galaxy Note and Galaxy Nexus are good but still I would be more partial towards Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
