Best 5inch android device under 15k.Read below.

I want 5inch android device with great battery,sound quality,camera quality and device which doesn't heats up.Ram 2gb(1.5gb for Samsung) . Please suggest a device which will get Android M update ie Android 6.0/ Marshmallow

Checked following devices review at Flipkart/Amzon

1) Redmi 2 Prime - Good build,great camera, decent battery but have audio(earpiece) and heating issue.

2) Moto G 2015 -Great build,camera,battery but there is heating issue

3) Samsung J5 - Decent build,great camera and battery backup but sound volume too low.

4) Mi4i / Mi4 - SOme people wrote "you can cook Chappati with Mi4i/Mi4 and battery drain fast.

All these comment are based on flipkart and amazon review.

I checked for Galaxy S4 but it will not receive Android 6.0

That everyone know because out of the box it is Andorid 5.0 and more important it's stock android.

first of all forget about heating issue comments on internet because there is no phone for which there are no heating issue comments.second when it comes to android phones under 15k no one provides better build quality & after sales support than motorola so immediately consider any negative comment like heating issue/voice problem/signal issue etc about motorola as bad luck/poor understanding of commenter.

Under 15k zenfone is a good option or go for moto x 2nd gen. It is on sale on flipkart @15999/-

I agree,every mobile under 15000 have heating issues except signal issue in Xiaomi.But i have a question regarding Motorola service that in google number of consumer logged a complaint against B2X(moto service center) for poor service.

But it cost above my budget and also 5.5 inch screen and i am searching for 5 inch

Xiaomi Mi4i doesn't heat up as much as Mi4 does. Its biggest con is lack of SD card slot, otherwise its a great phone. 2 of my friends have it & both love it. It gets heated up while gaming (which every phone does, bit more than my Z3C though but Z3C is a flagship device & Mi4i is a midrange one, so its fine).

Also I would like to add that the available cpus below 20k include SD615 , SD410, Intel Atom and Mediatek(Helio X10 and others) and of course Exynos , all of which have optimisation and heating issues to an extent so its unavoidable however Snapdragon and Intel Atom should still be 1st preference

Also +1000000 to Moto and Asus after sales !!

Get Mi4 eye closed its available for 12,999 don't get moto G 2015 it is so under powered with SD410 chipset.

Even i heard the same.Earlier Mi4i heats up but after update released by Xiaomi it reduces some heating issue.

Well after sales services are not needed if someone use device carefully and knows how to use a device properly.performance difference is not minor in any way SD 801 is much much better than SD410.


Getting a inferior device with similar price doesn't make any sense.

Exactly !!
Manufacturing defects are pretty common for all brands but the way these newcomer companies handle it is a shame !!
Even if you pay them for a simple broken screen or something, they will still treat you like a charity case

Then those people deserve to buy those overpriced phones just for warranty as for me i am no way getting any under powered phone just for warranty.
