    Hi!

    I m searching the method for Automating Windows XP Installation.

    I Found One method ...

    Put winnt.sif file on the Floppy and start installation with Bootable CD!

    But I want to do installation from CD itself.

    Is there any method to this?

    Plz Help Me!

    Well you can create answer file for XP installation with the deployment tools on the XP CD.

    The tool is Setup Manager and it can be found in
    <CDROOT>\support\tools\deploy.cab

    Extract files from that cab file with 7Zip/WinZip/WinRar.
    Then run setupmgr.exe
    Follow the instructions. It will give 2 files of which unattended.txt will be answer file.

    ref.chm in the cab file is a good help for creating/editing unattended.txt

    There are other 3rd party tools like nLite, which can be used to create basic help file without knowing how it works.

    Hi 1 aadi + 1 aadi = 1 full

    I already done that! I got the generated unattended.txt file. I also converted it in SIF format and copied on FLOPPY! It works fine!

    But now my problem is that, U know that we are not using FLOPPYs as its get toooooooo old.

    I need a solution regarding to CDs means can i put this file on CD so that I dont need to FLOPPING!

    Plz HELP MEEEEEEEEE!
