automatic change desktop colour

i hav a problem relating 2 chnage in desktop colour automatically ,
if i choose any colour of my desktop (laptop compaq) than it should b change for that time but whn i start it in next time or log off it come in his original Xp color i.e blue colour automatically.

what i do plz help me............

i guess u r talking abt the task-bar in XP...

no yaar i mean wn i go throught

right click on desktop--->desktop option_--> click on colour ,option for choosing d colour of my com.

desktop option ??? where is that??

or are u talking about changing the wallpaper or something ??

BTW, merely selecting the color would not be enough...you should "APPLY" the changes...
