auto insert notification in XP

My drive ( LG DVD RAM ) doesnt automatically start the autorun ? Why Xp doesnt ask for waht to do also ??

HAve u installed Norton 2005,.... it disabled my autorun................ otherwise
if u have windows xp then go to properties of ur drive and then select the AUTOPLAY tab
and select the appropriate action............

did not help . it wasnt set to take no action.
it was set to promt me for action.
and i dont have norton 05 . a little BETTER help.

Have you got Clone CD installed on your computer?If yes then change the autostart settings from the settings of the program.

Sorry the bad comment . But i dont Clone CD . THis problem started just a few days back . It took me quite a wile to recognise it. What sall i do ?

Run "gpedit.msc", look in the 'Administrative templates' and edit the autoplay settings.

Or Right-click on ur DVD drive icon in My Computer.
And select Properties and goto Autoplay tab.
Here u can change the settings according to ur requirements!

Hey thanks u guys . I installed autopatcher XP and it corrected the problem.It had a program written for it !!!!!!!!!
